The name of this blog comes from a silly game that we made up one day, about 8 years ago, and have been playing regularly since then. It’s simple to learn and play.
All you do is hum, sing, or whistle a song for however long you’d like and just wait until you hear your partner singing, humming, or whistling the same tune. That’s it.
Just try to get a song stuck in your partner’s head without them even realizing it. It’s really fun for me because I can get Jason with pretty much any song and within minutes he’s singing or usually whistling the song.
When you hear your partner with the song you “put there” just say “I put that there”.
I know how silly it sounds, but it’s funny, especially when you’re not even trying to do it and you just have a song stuck in your own head and then you get it stuck in someone else’s.
And being the competitive type I am, I love that I can get him at least ten times to every 1 time he gets me.
So check this shit out. We follow the Traditional Anniversary Gift giving guide. This makes Jason’s life a little easier since he’d rather sleep naked in a sewer than shop for gifts of any kind.
So having a road map of what he’s getting is a bit of a relief for him. Anywho, iron is the traditional gift for your 6th anniversary. We both exchange our gifts only to find that we both had them engraved with the same words!
